☀️ Staying Cool, Hydrated & Connected This May ☀️

May has brought some beautiful sunshine, but with warmer weather comes the importance of keeping older adults safe, cool and well hydrated. 💧❤️

At Red Robins Companions, we’ve been making sure our clients are drinking plenty of fluids, enjoying refreshing drinks throughout the day and staying comfortable during the warmer temperatures.

We’ve also been enjoying some lovely trips out to places with air conditioning, where our clients can relax, have a cup of tea, enjoy a chat and get out of the house without worrying about the heat. ☕❄️

From garden centres and cafés to local outings, these little trips make a big difference. They provide companionship, stimulation and something to look forward to, while helping our clients stay safe and comfortable.

As we get older, it’s easy to forget to drink enough, and dehydration can quickly lead to tiredness, confusion and feeling unwell. That’s why a friendly reminder and a helping hand can be so important.

Because sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference. ❤️🐦
