Just a few more weeks, and we'll be stepping into March, hopefully welcoming some lovely changes in the weather. It's such a joy to imagine going on more walks with our wonderful clients, gazing up at the beautiful blue sky instead of a ceiling, and enjoying the new growth we see in parks and everywhere we go. Watching the blossoms bloom on the trees is always such a special sight. Yesterday brought a wave of mixed emotions. I woke up at 3am to see my youngest off as he begins five months of travel with his friends in South Asia before starting his degree in October. I am incredibly proud of him for working so hard—juggling two, sometimes three jobs—to reach this goal, and he truly achieved something remarkable. While I am excited for the new experiences awaiting him, I also feel a deep sense of worry for his safety. Big changes are happening in my life too, and I will miss him immensely. My family means everything to me, and letting go is so difficult. As a mother, I know it’s my job to guide them through childhood, then watch them fly, making their own choices—good and bad—to learn and grow. Still, I find comfort in knowing I will always be there for him, ready to support whenever he needs me. We really enjoy going out and socializing with our wonderful clients. There are so many fantastic clubs in St Albans and Harpenden that we love to take our lovely clients to. We enjoy these outings just as much as they do! After we return from our clubs we love preparing delicious lunch or supper. Walking outside in nature and observing the spring

Walking outside in nature and observing the spring flowers beginning to bloom, along with the singing birds, always helps clear my mind and brings a sense of peace. It's a much-needed boost for my mental well-being. Since starting menopause, I've been struggling with frequent, painful headaches, and while I'm still figuring out how to manage them, walking tends to provide some relief. My life feels like it’s full of change right now—balancing a busy job I love, supporting my child at university, and watching my two other children travel separately with friends in February. I feel both excited for them and worried for their safety. These three are my world; I’ve been a single parent for 16 years, and our close bond means everything to me. Naturally, these times can be very stressful. Taking a moment to give my mind a break—by walking in the sunshine, admiring the beauty around me, and listening to the sounds of nature—reminds me that reconnecting with the natural world is a precious, free gift.
